A WORD ABOUT CONTACTING US
The best way to contact us regarding website or ordering issues is by sending an email to customerservice@westernsportshop.com and include your order number. Please note - we do not monitor email during weekends or holidays. We try to respond to all emails within 24 hours (weekends excluded). If you have not received a response after that time, please feel free to email us again. We receive a large amount of both regular and unsolicited emails, and sometimes it can be overlooked, misrouted or even deleted by our SPAM filters.
ORDER PROCESSING
Most weekday orders are processed within 24 hours. Please note, we do not ship orders on either Saturday or Sunday. Friday and weekend orders are generally shipped on Monday. You will receive notification if there will be any delays in your order. Orders placed over a three day weekend will generally ship by the Wednesday of the following week.
Please note: STANDARD SHIPPING is either via UPS Ground or USPS Priority Mail depending upon the weight and size of the order, and does not guarantee a specific delivery date. If you need to make sure an item arrives within a certain time frame, please select expedited services during the checkout process.
Western Sport Shop, Inc., can accept no liability for items which do not arrive by a specific date, although you will receive credit if the shipping services fail to deliver on time.
If you are requesting expedited services (2nd Day, Next Day), orders received before 10 am Pacific Time will be processed that day.
All orders shipped within California will be charged sales tax (currently 8.25%)
DOMESTIC ORDERS
Domestic Orders are generally shipped via UPS Ground Service. This generally takes 5 - 7 working days in the continental US. All orders are shipped from California. (Excludes drop-shipped items) Residents of Alaska and Hawaii must use UPS 2nd Day or Next Day Service. Please note that these expedited services may take extra time to outlying areas.
UPS will not deliver to a PO Box - unless you supply a valid street address, your order may be delayed.
You will receive email notification with a tracking number when your order has been shipped. Shipments can be tracked via the UPS website: www.ups.com
ATTENTION
AOL USERS!
Recently, we have had trouble with the various internet service providers
blocking the tracking number email. AOL and Hotmail seems particularly prone
to this. The UPS package info email comes from an "@ups.com" address,
so you may need to reset your SPAM filters to allow this to get through.
Please email customerservice@westernsportshop.com if you do not receive the shipment confirmation email.

USPS PRIORITY MAIL
Books, tying materials and some other smaller items can be shipped via USPS Priority Mail. Generally, we will combine all items for the rate shown.
This shipping option is not available for fly rods, or on orders totalling more than $50US.
USPS Priority Mail can be delivered to PO Boxes.
USPS Priority Mail generally takes 2 days to most destinations - however it can more to outlying areas. You will receive email notification with a tracking number when your order has been shipped. Shipments can be verified (but generally not tracked in real time) via the USPS website: www.usps.com

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
International Orders are quoted individually for the destination country. Due to lack of reliable delivery, we will not ship to certain countries. Currently this includes, but is not limited to: Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia.
We ship all international orders via DHL-International. If you would like to get an idea of the fees and service times to your country, go to the DHL website: www.dhl.com (For rate estimate, for "Shippers Address" use "SAN RAFAEL" for city, "94901" for Zip Code, and "CALIFORNIA" for state, and "UNITED STATES" for country, then put your location in the "TO" fields.)
Please note: International Credit Card Verification may take up to 10 business days.
All duties and taxes on international orders are the responsibility of the receiving party.
CLASSES & CLINICS
You will receive verification by mail (and email) on all clinic and class signups. There are no shipping fees on Classes or Clinics. Please select the appropriate option when you check out. (Don't worry, we catch it if you don't).
GIFT CERTIFICATES
Gift Certificates are sent via USPS Priority Mail, and require a signature from the recipient. The purchaser will receive a copy of their receipt via standard US Mail.
PLEASE NOTE:
All shipping and handling fees, errors (both human and computer) are subject to correction, before your order is processed. Unless specifically noted on the item, all orders are subject to the minimum shipping charge of $4.90
