A WORD ABOUT CONTACTING US

The best way to contact us regarding website or ordering issues is by sending an email to customerservice@westernsportshop.com and include your order number. Please note - we do not monitor email during weekends or holidays. We try to respond to all emails within 24 hours (weekends excluded). If you have not received a response after that time, please feel free to email us again. We receive a large amount of both regular and unsolicited emails, and sometimes it can be overlooked, misrouted or even deleted by our SPAM filters.

ERROR MESSAGES ON YOUR ORDER

You may receive an error message when you press the button to complete your transaction. Generally, these orders go through without a problem, but it is a good idea to email customerservice@westernsportshop.com with your order number. PLEASE INCLUDE YOUR ORDER NUMBER in the email!

This seems to be a problem with certain combinations of certain systems and browsers - probably related to a security setting on your end. We are seeking a solution to this problem.

CREDIT CARD CHOICES/NO-CHOICES

Every once in a while, the pull-down menu of credit card types will not function for a customer. One way to cause this to happen is to NOT select the correct type of credit card before entering your account number. Our servers do a validity test on the credit card number you enter, so if you choose AMEX and enter a VISA number, you end up in a dead-end, computer-wise. Our software generally won't let you reenter the correct credit card type after you've done this. Sorry.

The only work around we've found is to go to your shopping cart, empty it, and start again from scratch. Yep, one day, we'll look back on this and laugh...

NO EMAIL CONFIRMATION OF YOUR SHIPMENT
If we ship via UPS, the tracking information from your shipment is sent directly from the UPS system.

Note - As of 2004, the UPS system sends its tracking/info emails from "QuantumView". You may need to "allow" this in your system or through your ISP.

These days, a number of ISP's and SPAM-Blocker software configurations prevent these from getting through. They do not bounce back to us, so we don't know this has occurred.

So, if you are running SPAM-Blocking software, or if you are safely protected by AOL or someone else's filters, you will need to let it or them know that you will be getting an email from an email address that will look like "QuantumViewNotify@ups.com" (without the quotes). Often you can simply allow the ups.com domain.

Of course, you should email customerservice@westernsportshop.com if you do not receive the shipment confirmation email.

THE ITEM I ORDERED ISN'T CORRECT

If it's our fault, you won't pay for return shipping. Email customerservice@westernsportshop.com with your order number and we'll get a RA# for you.
